Energy Education Through the Arts
Join us at this two-day celebration of the power and the possibilities of renewable energy and sustainable living, packed with fun and friendly programs for the whole family. This year we host nationally recognized speakers and over 60 workshops, indoor and out — rain or shine, highlighting the latest in clean energy, green buildings, zero-emission transportation, public policy, sustainable living & food, music and arts.
If you want to learn how to cut your electrical, heating & cooling, and transportation costs at home and work — and how to help mitigate the effects of climate change — then come, learn, experience and have fun this summer at New England’s most entertaining source of energy education.
The doors open at 8:00 am on Saturday to diverse exhibits in the Vendor Village, inspiring speakers at over 60 workshops. Ticket options include full-festival weekend tickets are $40 each, and kids under 10 are FREE. A Sunday-only ticket is $20.
After a full day of workshops and family activities on Saturday August 18th, the main stage music will be kicked off by The Balkun Brothers, named the ‘Best Rock Band in New England’ at the 2017 New England Music Awards. Headlining the event is Burlington’s own high-energy Gang of Thieves, following their “Work Together Tour” where they volunteered in numerous communities around the country hoping to make a positive impact.
Weekend presentations, panels and activities run through 3:00 pm on Sunday August 19th, including family activities, dancing, movie screenings, great food and beverages, and the beautiful mountain vistas including gondola rides to the summit.
